Thursday of every month
at 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm Eastern
What's a TeleSupport Group?
Glad you asked that! It's like
an in-person support group meeting in that there is a
facilitator (me) and there'll be participants (yes, hopefully
you) and we'll be getting together to share the challenges and
successes we've experienced living with a chronic health
condition. The differences are that you don’t have to leave
your house, you don’t have to drive to some distant location
and you don’t even have to get dressed! Just climb into your
favourite “jammies”, pour yourself a beverage of your choice,
get comfortable on the couch and dial the phone to call the
assigned bridgeline. In essence, it’s like a teleconference.
About the Facilitator
My name is Trish Robichaud and I’m a Maximum Life Coach as well
as a trained TeleClass Leader. My passion in life is to inspire
and empower people to maximize their quality of life in spite
of a chronic health condition or a disability. As a person with
multiple sclerosis and major depression myself, I bring a very
personal commitment to my work and a genuine empathy to my
clients.
I have been facilitating groups for the better part of ten
years. I’m often described as truly authentic and I always "say
it like it is". My style is highly interactive and my
participants always leave with a sense of knowing themselves a
little bit better. If you’d like to learn more about me, visit

page.
How do I join?
If you want to join our TeleSupport Group, follow the link at
the bottom of this page for the sign-up form and I’ll add you
to our monthly guest list. From there on in you’ll get a
monthly invitation with the bridgeline number you’ll need to
call to join us. If at any point you’d like to be removed from
the guest list, you’ll have that option to indicate that when
replying to the invitation.
The bridgeline will be a long distance number in the US but not
to worry, depending on your long distance provider, it won’t
cost you any more than $3 to $6. You’d spend that much on gas
and a cup of coffee if you were to attend an in-person support
group.
If the long distance is a concern for
you though, you can pick up a long distance calling card at
just about any convenience store or pharmacy. In Canada, you
can go to any Radio Shack, Shoppers Drug Mart or Canada Post
office and buy a VoxDirect calling card. Their long distance
runs $.019 per minute vs. Maw Bell at $.10 to $.15 per minute.
If you’re willing to purchase online, the other option is to
visit VoxDirect’s website at
www.VoxDirect.ca . I personally use their
online purchase program for the many TeleClasses that I attend.
I hope you can join us. This is a
wonderful opportunity for fellowship that you'll be able to
experience from the comfort of your own home.
