About Coaching

Personal coaching is about helping you to:

bullet

Take a really good, honest look at where you're  currently at in life. (Self-examination & assessment)

bullet

Figure out exactly where you want to be down the road in the future. (Vision development)

bullet

Chart out a detailed map of how you're going to get there. (Goal setting: short & long term)

bullet

Find the personal resources you need to make the journey. (Empowerment & motivation).

Our lives are made up of Seven Vital Areas: health, family, financial, intellectual, social, professional and spiritual.

My job as your personal coach is to help you find a path that more fully develops your potential in any area that YOU want to work on. YOU determine where the coaching will take you because it's YOUR life!

My role is to be a good listener, a sounding board, cheerleader, mentor, confidante, friend, motivator and energy source. I will coach you through your transition one step at a time, supporting you every step of the journey. We'll find creative ways to remove any roadblocks we encounter along the way.

Coaching and counselling are similar in that they both require a regular investment of time and energy; but that's where the similarity ends.

Counselling (or therapy) generally focuses on the past and healing; whereas coaching always focuses on the present, the future and your personal growth.

Oh, and one more thing… Coaching happens by phone! - This saves time and money in travel and scheduling. You'll find that, as others do, face-to-face interaction isn't necessary for a positive coaching experience.

When will you be ready to define and achieve your Maximum Life? If not now, then when? What are you waiting for? I’m waiting to provide you with a no obligation complimentary coaching session. Go for it!

Benefits of Coaching

Why would you want to hire a coach? What benefit would you experience as a result of working with a coach? Well, if you’re motivated to make the most of the opportunity and to maximize your quality of life, here are just a few examples of the benefits that you might experience:

bullet

A healthier attitude towards the prospect of living life with a chronic illness, enabling you the opportunity to make the absolute most of your life, in spite of your health condition.

bullet

The personal support that you need to hold you accountable in manifesting the balance in your life that’s required to achieve your own personal level of optimal health.

bullet

Guidance and direction on how to find the information, support and knowledge that is essential to making informed choices about treatment, lifestyles and wellness practices.

bullet

The comfort level necessary to communicate your personal needs to those who care about you.

bullet

The ability to give yourself permission to value, enjoy and pursue ultimate self-care.

bullet

The self-awareness that is vital to educating those who need to know what to expect from you, such as friends or an employer.

Do these benefits sound like things you’ve been missing in your journey with chronic illness? If so, then read on and find out how easy it is to get started.

Getting Started

You start by initiating contact with me using the complimentary coaching session form. It won't cost you a dime, just a commitment to yourself. Once I get that form from you, I'll email you to negotiate a possible day and time for our no obligation initial session. When you've confirmed a day and time, I'll send you my "Get Acquainted" exercise to complete and return to me prior to our session.

Then on our pre-determined day and time you'll give me a ring to connect for our coaching call. Your initial trial session is always free. This gives each of us a chance to get to know one another. After that first session you'll have a better idea of whether I'm the "right" coach for you. By this time you'll also have thought about what coaching format fits your lifestyle and budget.

If you decide to continue, I'll send you a Letter of Commitment for you to review. This isn't a binding contract, just an agreement that you and I both understand the terms of our relationship. You'll sign it and send it back to me with your payment. I'll sign it, scan it and email it back to you.

I don't feel that there’s any need for a contractual obligation because if you're not feeling positive about our relationship then you won't be getting anything out of my coaching; and in that case, I'll be happy to release you from your commitment. I will outline that "release option" in the Letter of Commitment.

If you're ready to get started, go ahead and complete the complimentary coaching session form. If you're not certain yet, then check out all of my FREE OFFERS to explore how I might be able to help you achieve your maximum life! I welcome the opportunity to connect with you in whatever way you're comfortable with.
